Since 1997, the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra and the Schönbrunn Chamber Ensemble perform the most beautiful tunes of the classic composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss in the Orangery of Schönbrunn Palace. The Mozart & Strauss concerts are divided into two parts: the first part is devoted to some of the most beautiful overtures, arias and duets from Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart such as "The Marriage of Figaro", "The Magic Flute" and "Don Giovanni". In the second part, famous operetta arias, waltzes and polkas from Johann Strauss, such as "The Bat" (also known under the German name "Die Fledermaus"), "The Gypsy Baron", "The Blue Danube" and "Radetzky March" are carried out. Beside the performance of the Schönbrunn Palace Orchestra and the Schönbrunn Chamber Ensemble, you can also enjoy the performance of two opera singers, a soprano and a baritone, and of two excellent ballet dancers.
